"The specific terroir of our small municipality is characterized by a particular geological conformation of marine origin. The soil has a clayey upper layer that insists on underlying sedimented layers of ancient marl, which gives an advantageous mineral richness to our vineyards, allowing the wines to achieve aromatic and olfactory results of notable refinement and elegance.
The unusual altitude at which our vineyards are located, far higher than the average of the Monferrato hills, allows our grapes to grow in a happy micro climate, far from the winter fogs and frosts that usually concentrate in the valleys. The particular geological conformation completes the picture of our terroir, consecrating it in fact suited to winemaking excellence."

"This fun and energetic wine leaps out of the glass with fresh cranberry, red currant and tons of fresh flower aromas. Grignolino is one of the historic grapes of Piedmont and one you should seek out. This example has copious amounts of bright fruit flavors, a light refreshing palate and a zippy tart finish.
