This seasonal limited edition Sake is brewed in Fall using the newly harvested rice. This sake will remind you of fresh cut grass and dawn. At 19% ABV this nama genshu (unpasteurized and undiluted) sake-in-a-can packs a real punch. Enjoy this limited edition sake that's only released once a year in the U.S. on ice with a twist of lemon.
All of the Kikusui Funaguchi cans are pretty similar, but each has unique qualities. The nose on the "Green" is far more nama-like with floral and lemon grass aromas, which is appropriate because this can is a seasonally released sake that uses freshly harvested rice. This can has so much presence and drinks as impactful as the "Gold" can. Big, bright, boozy, and fun, this is a party in a can. It has layers of flavors from fruity to honey-like. "Green" drinks more like an unpasteurized fresh raw sake than the other cans.
