Cabernet franc from Arlo Ringsmuth's vineyard on the east side of Seneca Lake in Hector. This fruit is always bright and alive with a wild edge to it and is about the closest we get to natty wine these days. Easy drinking but even better on day two.
Crushed raspberry, pollen, juicy, bright and seamless with a wash of shale and lingering tannic grip.
