Meet Vincent! Bred in Ontario in 1958, this French-American grape is a notable teinturier variety. Unlike most grapes, it boasts both dark skins and naturally purple juice, making it a celebrated choice for wines with intense color and depth.

These grapes were farmed organically by our friends at Buzzard Crest Vineyards. Crushed and fermented at our farm in the Catskills.

Dear Native Grapes is a vineyard and winery run by Deanna Urciuoli & Alfie Alcántara.  They are focused on growing North American native and hybrid grapes in order to make exceptionally wild natural wine.

"Before Prohibition, Delaware was considered the jewel of American wine grapes.  It's origins trace back 200 years to a garden in New Jersey.  In the 1850's it was propelled to nationwide popularity for the quality of its wine.

In the 1920's, Prohibition wiped out most commercial winegrowing in the country, and Delaware faded into obscurity.  Today, only a few scattered plantings remain."
